Overview



Intrepid Solutions is seeking a qualified Database Architect to support a new program serving a DoD customer. This effort will provide research, development, assessment, adaption, transformation, testing, integration, demonstration, transition, fielding, sustainment, and enhancement of the designated information and/or intelligence software systems with Multi-Domain Operations (MDO) warfighting capabilities. A qualified Database Architect will meet or exceed the qualifications, and be capable of performing the duties, listed below:

Responsibilities

• Developing and documenting database architectures via database architectural strategies at the modeling, design and implementation stages.
• Developing database solutions by designing proposed system; defining database physical structure and functional capabilities, security, back-up, and recovery.
• Utilizing ETL (extract, transform, load) best practices in the creation of the database.
• Determining database structural requirements by analyzing client operations, applications, and programming.
• Managing data structure at the design phase of SQL and Non-SQL database management.

OPERATING HOURS AND EXPECTATIONS:

• This is a Full Time position, with standard operating hours to be dicussed during the interview process.
• It is anticipated that this position will require 100% on-site support.

TRAVEL:

• Position may require some travel.

Qualifications




CLEARANCE:

• Active Top Secret / SCI. ***TS/SCI required upon application for initial consideration. This position is not open for any clearance upgrades, reactivation, or sponsorship.***

EDUCATION:

• Required, Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science

CERTIFICATION(S):

• Active AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, required.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 8 years of experience developing and documenting database architectures via database architectural strategies at the modeling, design and implementation stages.
