Job Description:

Qualis Corporation is seeking multiple Cybersecurity Engineers to support a Cybersecurity mission by preparing client systems for assessment and accreditation (A&A). Provide subject matter expertise in various Cybersecurity areas, including the risk management framework (RMF) to client programs. Perform security assessment and compliance activities by using assessment tools and procedures and security technical implementation guides (STIGs). Consult headquarters-level decision makers on the technical implementation of solutions for promoting the sustainment of Cybersecurity across multiple technology areas. Prepare client systems for assessment by running security test procedures (STPs), the security content automation protocol (SCAP) compliance checker (SCC), and assured compliance assessment solution (ACAS) scans. Support the research of emerging technology, requisite security requirements, and emerging threats and develop a way forward to meet organizational goals. This position is located in Colorado Springs, CO or Rome, NY.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with providing information assurance, engineering, or operational support to the DoD, including supporting information operations, Cyber operations, system administration, and systems security
• Experience with a DoD certification and accreditation (C&A) program, including developing or analyzing security test and evaluation reports
• Experience with evaluating information assurance (IA) compliance of a system against current RMF and DoD Cybersecurity policies
• Active Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification

• Experience in working with the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS)
• Experience in working with the Xacta RMF tool
• Knowledge of applicable regulations, including DoD 8500.02, DoD 8510, NIST SP 800-37, NIST SP 800-53 or 53A, NIST SP 800-30, or CNSSI 1253
• Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
• Possession of excellent time management and analytical skills
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• BA or BS degree
• DoD 8570 IAM III or IAT III Certification
