The Project Management Office (PMO) team builds bridges across Visa by collaborating with our business partners and technology teams to ensure programs and projects are delivered on-time and with quality. We are seeking a PMO manager to provide leadership, collaboration, training, and guidance to a team of Project Managers and Scrum Masters leveraging Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

  • You will play a leadership role by managing a team of Project Managers and Scrum Masters who lead and coach highly visible technology projects and teams.

  • You will provide leadership and direction to promote successful project delivery.

  • You will foster a team culture of inclusion and well-being.

  • You will build and maintain a high performing team; hire and retain the right talent and ensure Project Manager and Scrum Master career growth.

  • You will develop and empower direct reports to make appropriate program / project-related decisions while fostering a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and mentoring.

  • You will manage proper distribution and allocation of resources, implementation of budgets, provide budget and financial reporting to technology and business executives and mentor PMs on budgeting.

  • You will work collaboratively across cross-functional areas within Visa to drive overall program success.

  • You will communicate status and advanced technical issues to technical staff, product partners and senior management.

  • You will assist in the coordination and facilitation of fiscal year planning activities across multiple organizations.

  • You will manage a strategic program by participating in annual planning, leading program funding activities and providing transparent status to the executive level.

  • You will promote continual learning and process improvements to deliver projects from inception to conclusion.

  • You will manage the coordination of activities and communication across global distributed locations.

  • You will be an advocate for activities and practices that help boost overall employee engagement.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8 years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 5 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/MBA/JD/MD)

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience in Project Management Office people management and cross-functional team leadership

  • Technical program, project management and scrum master experience in a fast-paced environment

  • Knowledge and experience with Agile, Scaled Agile (SAFe) framework, and Waterfall methodologies

  • Experience with tools such as JIRA, Excel, SharePoint,and Confluence

  • Experiencein a highly analytical, results-oriented environment with cross-functionalinteractions

  • Strong analytical, mediation and problem resolution skills

  • Excellenttime management, communication, collaboration, and organization skills

Additional Information

Work Hours

The incumbent must make themselves available during core business hours.

The incumbent must make themselves available to support technical resources in the Asian Pacific time zones.

Travel Requirements

This position requires the employee to travel for work <10% of the time, or as needed to support business

Physical Requirements

This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the employee to sit and/or stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, and reach with hands and arms.

The position starts at $112,000. Base pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, this position is eligible for bonus and equity
