What success looks like in this role:

Responsible for strategic supplier selection and contract negotiations on requirements of engineering, product management, operations, sales, and Unisys clients. Includes support of alliance development, outsourcing and development of suppliers for internal, manufacturing, and resale requirements._x000D_ _x000D_ Provides procurement support activities during Product Development Phase. Preparation of purchase detail to populate customer bids and sales proposals. Support of client pre-sales opportunities through client specific product and service sourcing through either a bid desk or help desk environment. Includes subcontracting and risk management, utilizes corporate contracted and preferred sources and only seeks alternative sources due to lack of technical fit or due to client specification._x000D_ _x000D_ Fully qualified professional with some years working experience. Provides comprehensive services and has technical knowledge to solve complex problems. Understands Unisys business strategy and is able to operate successfully with little supervision.

Key Responsibilities

* Responsible for strategic supplier selection and contract negotiations on requirements of engineering, product management, operations, sales, and Unisys clients.
* Includes support of alliance development, outsourcing and development of suppliers for internal, manufacturing, and resale requirements.
* Provides procurement support activities during Product Development Phase.
* Prepares purchase detail to populate customer bids and sales proposals.
* Supports client pre-sales opportunities through client specific product and service sourcing through either a bid desk or help desk environment.
* Utilizes corporate contracted and preferred sources and only seeks alternative sources due to lack of technical fit or due to client specification.
* Provides comprehensive services and has technical knowledge to solve complex problems. Responsibilities include Procurement Support during the Customer Bid Proposal phase, including identification of third party content required, the preparation of purchase detail to populate customer bids and sales proposals, competitive bidding, teaming agreements and risk management activities. Responsibilities also include activities during the Supply Delivery phase, including final negotiation of Supplier contracts or Statements of Work, and expediting supply delivery.
* Understands Unisys business strategy and is able to operate successfully with little supervision.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

Key Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree required; preferably in Business Economics or relevant technical discipline
* 5-8 years work experience in professional domestic or international environment
* Procurement knowledge required
* Oracle or similar ERP experience creating/auditing purchasing transactions
* Multiple Language capability preferred
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work with internal clients, can build relationships with company associates at peer level and above, and can lead conversations in a team environment.
