Headquartered in El Segundo, California, KARL STORZ Endoscopy-America is responsible for all U.S. distribution of endoscopes, instruments, imaging systems, electromechanical devices and OR1 integration technologies. We are seeking to hire a Data Analytics Manager This individual will work in our El Segundo office, effective September 13. Prior to, will work remote. (baring any major COVID changes)



The Data Analytics Manager will report to the Controller and will be responsible for leading strategic analytics, business intelligence and process improvements for the Accounting organization. In addition to working work closely with all the accounting team leaders, the manager will collaborate with various functions such as Sales, Revenue Operations, Customer Service, Logistics, Samples management, Purchasing, Service and Marketing, to provide insights and support decision making by turning data in actionable information. The manager will support Operations Accounting, Corporate Accounting, Credit and Collection, Accounts Payable, and Payroll to improve and streamline their reporting capabilities and processes.



Responsibilities:



  • Support the Operations Accounting, Corporate Accounting, Credit and Collection, Accounts Payable and Payroll functions data analytics and process improvements

  • Define, develop and track relevant KPIs to monitor and optimize business performance

  • Partner with business leaders to understand organizational objectives and anticipate analytical needs of internal stakeholders

  • Manage pipeline of planned and ad hoc requests from stakeholders

  • Design, implement and maintain reporting tools and processes to maximize revenue and profit

  • Collaborate with IT to define project work associated with the implementation

  • Identify, extract, transform and expose data from multiple sources into actionable business insights.

  • Build and manage a data analytics team

  • Drive cross-functional projects to implement new, or align existing designs with business needs and technology

  • Explore Robotic Process Automation opportunities to deliver efficiencies and automation



Qualifications:



  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Power BI, Tableau and/ or SAP Cloud Analytics

  • Large ERP (SAP, Oracle, etc..) and data Warehouse experience

  • Experience with Celonis is a plus

  • Experience in robotic process automation is a plus

  • Proven ability to collaborate across functions, interpret business needs, and advise internal customers to reach desired outcomes

  • Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills

  • Attention to details and problem-solving aptitude

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Interpersonal skills and ability to resolve conflicts, provide support, leadership, and motivation



Education/Experience:



  • BS or MS in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Computer Science

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Reporting, Analytics, and BI

  • Minimum of 3 years of managerial experience
