Auditor/Information Process Clerk

SUMMARY:

Ensure specification of styles and conform to standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Person must work with head fixers and management in evaluating new styles and current styles, ensuring that the course ravels are within standard in both the greige and the finished standards.

  • Make sure layout of the sock meets all standard measurements including weight.

  • Inspect each sock in a Lot to ensure no defects are present.

  • The Quality of the sample is an important aspect of doing this job correctly.

  • Keep a record of each lot/sample run for future reference when needed.

  • Process all paperwork needed to follow sample through each department and prepare it for shipping.

  • Work a 7am -3pm schedule Monday thru Friday but willing to work overtime (up to 12 hours per day as needed) to expedite any samples that are put on rush. (Including some weekends)

  • Special requirement - Be able to travel to Corporate facility for training at the Central Lab if necessary.

  • Process and summarize various information from reports as well as perform audits

  • Adhere to company policies, including attendance and punctuality

  • Communicate with co-workers, management and others in a courteous and professional manner

SPECIAL REQUIREMENT: Be trained to be a fill-in Knitting production clerk as needed.


  • Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions including but not limited to confidentiality requirements

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY


  • Must be able to read, write and basic arithmetic, including conversion formulas and metric measurements.

  • Be able to work on PC programs such as Microsoft word, excel and mainframe system including pay system.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Self - motivated to complete each lot/sample on a timely basis.
