BMC Web Marketing is looking for a Senior Manager of Web Strategy - a visionary thinker and web strategist to serve as the lead product owner of our marketing websites. You will be joining a global team of strategists, developers, operators, and program managers focused on delivering constant value to our customers and the business.

Your role*You will serve as product owner for BMC.com and associated domains*Drive the strategy, vision, and long-term roadmap for BMC's global marketing websites*Use all available data (quantitative and qualitative) to pinpoint, prioritize areas of improvement and new opportunities for value*You have the opportunity to interact with a wide variety of stakeholders, understand their needs, and create sustained, repeatable progress toward business objectives*You will be able to inspire a team of designers, engineers, authors, and analysts in developing customer-centric features and enhancements to our websites that delight our users and drive business value*Drive strategy for testing, targeting, and personalization in service of user and business objectives*Build, mentor, and manage a team of web experts including editors and UX professionals*Develop, socialize, and drive alignment around the overall BMC.com vision and strategy*You get the awesome opportunity to serve as a key contributor to the vision and execution plan for the overall BMC digital experience

Your experience
Table stakes*Expert at crafting relationships, establishing credibility, and communicating across multiple teams and functions, including executive leadership, development, creative, sales, customer success, etc.*Experience managing public-facing websites that deliver quantifiable value*Strong experience in high-performing web content creation, UX best practices, and SEO*A proven track record of taking initiatives from ideation through delivery and optimization*Understanding of Agile software development methodology and technologies, including Jira*Experience defining technical requirements, determining success criteria, sprint planning, and project prioritization*Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Bonus points*Background in development or product management specific to web products*Background at a marketing or development agency in a client-facing role*Experience with Adobe Experience Manager and / or other enterprise CMS tools*Experience forecasting and delivering on targets, including visits, conversions, engagement, etc.*Experience leading major web site initiatives (redesign, migration, etc.)
