Job Description:

The Sr. Product Manager will be a product owner and strategist for Bioclinica's Software Solutions integration platform which supports core eClinical products such as EDC, CTMS, IRT, etc. This role will be responsible for product strategy, roadmaps and product delivery to drive market growth and commercial success. To be successful you must have the relevant product management background with hands on requirements management experience and deliver to your commitments. You should also be able to collaborate and communicate effectively with the product development team and internal and external stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities

The Senior Product Manager will work closely with Bioclinica experts and customers to define the needs that drive the product vision. The Senior Product Manager will work collaboratively with product engineering, operations, sales, marketing and support to maintain a product roadmap for delivery dates. This role involves working with clients, prospects and partners to elicit recommendations on new features of enhancements to our product/service.

Performs product analysis and management by:


  • Prioritizing enhancements, customizations and configurations for multiple concurrent projects that may have competing timelines.


  • Understanding the unique needs of the pertinent business units, collaborating with other Product Managers to align strategies


  • Gathering, documenting and prioritizing feature requirements through direct interaction with users and stakeholders


  • Working with operational teams to identify and address areas of operational efficiency; this requires a deep understanding of the business and operational processes


  • Maintaining a complete listing of prioritized features and assisting in building business justification


  • Delivering requirement documentation with prioritized features and corresponding justification


  • Ensuring proper sun-setting and system/technology retirement plans are considered according to Product Life Cycle process


  • Measuring success using key metrics that you help to define and consistently monitor product performance and quality.


  • Providing end users training and act as product SME for support



Provides product team leadership by:


  • Managing subordinates in product management, engineering, operations or other relevant team members.


  • Working collaboratively with Bioclinica operational and business leaders to define product strategies and requirements and work with engineering to develop roadmap showing deliverables, schedule, features and benefits


  • Contributing directly to development efforts by developing requirements, UI conceptualization and design, performing prototype reviews etc.



  • Acting as subject matter expert with respect to the competition, operational best practices in the medical imaging markets and within a specific therapeutic area.


  • Ensuring that the products support the company's overall strategy and goals


  • Presenting to senior management, business unit leaders and customers


Supports sales and marketing efforts by:


  • Helping to develop marketing and training material


  • Providing support with client demonstrations


  • Making a positive impact on Bioclinica customer relationships


  • Conducting market research and competitive analysis to inform product decisions


Secondary Responsibilities

Maintains Quality Service and Departmental Standards by:

  • Reading, understanding and adhering to organizational Standard Operating Procedures ("SOP")

  • Establishing and enforcing departmental standards

  • Reviewing and updating company SOPs related to Product Management

Contributes to team effort by:


  • Exploring new opportunities to add value to organization and departmental processes


  • Helping others to accomplish results


  • Performing other duties as assigned and deemed necessary

Maintains Technical Knowledge by

  • Attending and participating in applicable company sponsored training

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required

Experience:


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Manager, Project Manager, Business Analyst or other position working collaboratively across business stakeholders, technology organizations and customers.


  • 3+ years of experience with medical imaging experience and a working knowledge of clinical trial process


  • Experience in developing marketing and user requirements for software applications highly desirable
