Overview

The Accuonting Assistant will have solid knowledge of AP and AR functions. Prior experience with Made2Manage or similar ERP preferred.


Responsibilities


  • Three-Way Match for AP Invoices

  • Obtain Internal Approval for Invoices without Purchase Orders

  • AR Invoicing and Mailing or E-Mailing to Customer

  • Vendor file maintenance

  • Monthly AP Forecasts

  • Weekly Check Runs

  • Monthly Reconciliation of AP and AR Accounts


Qualifications

Knowledge: Solid knowledge of AP and AR functions. Prior experience with Made2Manage or similar ERP preferred.

Skill: Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks.

Complexity: Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature, but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice. Resolves routine questions and problems, and refers complex issues to higher levels.

Discretion/Latitude: Works under direct supervision and follows standard procedures to accomplish assigned tasks.

Minimum Education & Experience: High School diploma (or equivalent) and 2 years of related experience.

Safety:

Must follow our internal Safety, Health and Environmental policies.

Comply with all CAES, State and Federal Regulations concerning the disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.

Wear all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) that is required for your work.

Attend all required health, safety and environmental training.

Perform all work according to established safe practices as defined in the Job Hazard Assessment (JHA) for your work area.
