Reporting to the Director of Parking and collaborating with the entire Parking Services team, the Marketing and Operations manager splits their time between marketing functions and audit/reconciliation tasks for the Department. As a skilled and creative marketing professional, the Manager is in charge of developing and implementing a strategic plan for marketing the Department's services both within and beyond the Temple University community. This includes enhancing and maintaining the Department's social media presence, creating print and digital advertisements, creating how-to videos, recommending updates to the website, plus much more. Additionally, the Manager will be trained on performing various audit and reconciliation procedures and will be expected to complete these tasks in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. The Manager will also assist in providing superior customer service and support Department operations in an array of business activities, including unique and promotional events.

Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree and at least two years of directly related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Develop and implement a strategic implementation plan for year-round marketing, advertising initiatives, and social media campaign promotions
*Prepare, edit, and produce organizational publications for internal and external audiences including, but not limited to, newsletters, magazines, press releases, mass emails, memos, letters, videos, and social media communications
*Responsible for creating content for signage, media sites, advertising and other publication streams
*Design, develop, and grow Parking Services' online social media presence to build awareness among visitors and the Temple community
*Manage various social media pages and day-to-day social media activities including, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
*Listen, respond, ask questions and engage with our online communities in a timely and positive manner
*Collaborate with various university departments, such as Strategic Marketing and Communications, the Division of Student Affairs (e.g., Open House, Move-In and Information Sessions), the Liacouras Center, and Athletics to promote services provided to students, employees, and visitors
*Perform auditing, tracking, and reconciliation tasks on at least a monthly basis, ensuring the work gets completed in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner
*Other duties as assigned
