Draper Laboratory is seeking a talented electrical engineer to join the Electromagnetics and RF Design team at Draper. The successful candidate will collaborate with engineers and scientists across several disciplines to develop, test, and debug electronics for state-of-the-art sensors and systems.

The ideal candidate must be a self-starter and have excellent technical communication skills.

Responsibilities include:

    Typical duties involve the simulation, testing, and debugging of analog and digital circuits, including amplifiers, oscillators and other timing circuitry, as well as clearly communicating technical results and issues to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • The candidate will be responsible for working in an ESD-controlled environment using a wide variety of test equipment including oscilloscopes, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, & power amplifiers.


Required Qualifications:

  • BS in electrical engineering or related field + 5 years of experience. MS preferred.

  • The candidate will have an exceptional academic record and demonstrated laboratory competence in circuit theory, testing, and debugging.

  • Knowledge of schematic capture and layout tools is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with some or all of the following analysis tools is preferred:


    • ADS

    • SPICE


Security Requirement:

  • Applicants selected for this position will be required to obtain and maintain a government security clearance. The primary requirement for a security clearance is US Citizenship.
