Since 1912 Sturgeon Electric has been providing comprehensive electrical construction services to clients in Colorado and throughout the western United States. Sturgeon Electric performs all types of electrical construction, including Commercial & Industrial, Line, Traffic, and Low Voltage & Communications, and is an industry leader in OSHA's VPP Safety Program.

Administrative Assistant Duties:


  • Administrative support for multiple managers

  • Answering phones and greeting guests and visitors

  • Review and entry of craft payroll

  • Customer billing and reconciliation

  • Various tasks working with Excel worksheets and populating data

  • Various reports and additional tasks as needed

  • Manage, Organize and Maintain General Information, emails, files, photos, daily reports, safety reports, meeting minutes, quotations etc.

  • Partake and lead in meetings involving Project and Administrative Role

  • Additional duties as assigned

  • Understand and comply with the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other industry-specific professional and ethical conduct standards, if applicable.





Job Requirements


Administrative Assistant Skills/Qualifications:


  • Prefer 2-3 years' experience with contracting or construction office background

  • Prior experience working with contracts and or insurance preferred

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word

  • Proficient with payroll entries

  • Ability to problem solve and provide solutions within the same day

  • Ability to support multiple managers

  • Positive attitude and team player

  • Ability to communicate via verbally and via written means
