Job Description:

  • Respond to any customer questions or concerns regarding project status or other related issues via phone, fax and e-mail.

  • Take and/or process customer orders

  • Enter and prepare paperwork for shipping department and plant manager through appropriate computer program. Generate daily invoices for customers.

  • Coordinate with production to ensure scheduling is maximized and all deliveries are on time.

  • Coordinate with appropriate staff to resolve customer concerns or issues relative to ongoing/completed projects.

  • Contact account managers and tech centers regarding updated pricing, order information and other issues.

  • Emphasis of responsibilities is on customer service issues only.

  • Coordinate orders, authorizing orders and resolving customer problems

  • Generate requested reports

  • Maintaining assigned files & computer records including pricing information, phone lists, purchase order requisitions/receipts and quote log

  • Process/monitor orders including data entry of ship to & tax information

  • Maintain the highest levels of customer care while demonstrating a friendly and cooperative attitude

  • Minimum HS degree/Associate degree preferred

  • Well-polished communication and verbal skills; strong accuracy working with numbers

  • Ability to multi-task, in a fast paced and vibrant work environment

  • Keyboarding proficiency; ability to learn industry-specific computer systems.

  • 6 months to 1 year experience in customer service in a manufacturing environment preferred

  • Knowledge and understanding of the manufacturing process

  • Proficient in the use of computers including MS Office products

  • Excellent telephone etiquette and skills

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Superior administrative skills, positive attitude, exemplary work ethic and attendance record
