About the Position

Environmental Engineer/Geologist/Hydrogeologist

VHB is seeking an entry-level environmental engineer/geologist/hydrogeologist to join our growing Bedford, NH office. Our Bedford Site Investigation and Remediation team is eager to mentor the next generation of professionals. At VHB we are passionate about making meaningful contributions to the world through the work that we do. Responsibilities

• Field data collection (soil, sediment, groundwater, surface water, soil gas sampling)


• Observe and document drilling activities (soil borings and monitoring well installation)


• Leveraging technology to support data management and visualization


• Conduct site assessments


• Assist with writing technical reports, correspondence, notes and memoranda

Skills & Abilities

• Ability to work in field and office settings


• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills


• Motivated and ability to problem solve and work independently

Requirements

• BS or MS in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Geology, or Hydrogeology (MS preferred)


• Prior experience in professional environmental/remediation consulting (intern or entry level) helpful but not required.


• On track to obtain professional licensure (PE or PG) as applicable
