The Senior Distribution Analyst manages analysis and supports Red Bull North America's (RBNA) Off Premise Distribution, Route to Market and Field Support team. The main priorities for the role are to lead the collection, analysis, development, and deployment of route to market solutions that support direct store delivery (DSD) sales team. Additional responsibility includes providing strategic analysis that bring top-line strategy to national and field leadership. You will also support the field distribution teams by providing strategic analysis, standard and ad hoc reporting and providing assistance.

  • Manage and publish compliance reporting for national VIP accounts


    Ensure consistency in our executional metrics by generating a monthly store list for our third-party auditors to evaluate for executional excellence


    Develop standardized reporting of service strategy outputs understanding before and after metrics including but not exclusively volume, executional excellence and distributor profitability in a format that can be shared with partners on appropriate messaging


    Create 3rd party distributor leadership presentations on efficient sales team utilization


    Analyze monthly distribution results providing comprehensive overview of drivers and detractors


    Provide applicable recommendations to team members to increase our growth that is rooted in analysis





  • Support annual business planning


    Lead the collection and analysis to provide meaningful insight from select 3rd party distributor partner's relevant data to understand sales routines. Create regular schedule of updates and reevaluations


    Lead the creation of a 3rd party distributor reference "library" that supports the ability for Red Bull to data mine distributor performance actuals to create excellent solutions for DSD in North America (for example: route structure, Presell, Inside Sales, Merchandiser deployment, etc.)


    Help share best practices across distributor types, geographies and overall route to consumer service strategy and structure





  • Lead the on-site data verification and action planning workshop to build the best mix of efficiency for the Red Bull DSD Route to Market


    Establish regular messaging to evaluate enhancement to ensure distributor partner support and to update network wide best practices


    Maintain positive working relationship with distributor partner leadership and team members by providing comprehensive updates on activities and best practices


    Develop tracking and measuring tools to promote calibration of areas of opportunity





  • Manage Distributor Pay for Performance Program (PFP) nationally, ensuring data accuracy between SPPM, IT, and Finance


    Bring PFP to life through communications and Distribution Partner (DP) educational content strategy with our Department and DP partners.





  • Lead important projects as determined by the Director Route to Market that support business need


    Identify projects to support the Departments and regions and build accordingly


    Assist the team in the annual business planning process, ensuring that all team members are aligned and well informed about the plan


    (Group the responsibilities of the role into either 3-4 buckets or simple bullets to make the job shorter and without redundancies)



EXPERIENCE

Your areas of knowledge and expertise

that matter most for this role:


  • 2+ years' experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry

  • Experience in Business/Management Consulting or CPG products

  • Excellent customer service experience to work with all levels of the organization from Field Level to Executive Management

  • Experience interpreting sales data, analyze results and provide applicable recommendations tied to our strategy

  • Experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker or Power BI

  • Experience using data manipulation and wrangling tools to prepare unstructured data from multiple sources

  • Familiarity with data analysis using SQL

  • Present complex data in comprehensive ways to guide internal understanding of sales leaders, and externally with retailers

  • Explain technical information in a simple way that establishes partnership, persuades others, and gains understanding

  • Enjoy working in a quickly evolving role

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; expert in Microsoft excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and PowerPoint


  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

  • English; additional language skills a plus

  • Travel up to 10%
