Description

Responsible for proper set-up and operation of all machinery in the department and proper machine set-up and repair of all department machinery.

Responsibilities

Required to know and perform all job responsibilities of the department set-up and operation.
• Work directly with Engineering to improve machine efficiency.


• Assist Maintenance personnel in solving machine problems in order to keep downtime to a minimum.


• Assist operator having machine problems.


• Fill in for any absent operator as production needs require.


• Train other operators in set-up and troubleshooting skills so that machine downtime can be minimized.


• Make work assignments as prepared or required by the production supervisor.


• Carry out other duties as assigned by the Unit Coordinator.

Qualifications

This job requires a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent and prefers two years of NSK experience. The most qualified person will be appointed.
