Castleton Commodities International (www.cci.com) in Stamford, CT is hiring a Compensation Analyst. This role reports to the Head of Strategic Incentives and will have significant exposure to senior leadership and various other leaders and functions within in the organization. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to private partnership equity, carried interest, and compensation analytics & strategy.
Support the evolution of CCI compensation programs through detailed compensation analysis.
Create forecasting models and ad hoc reports that will be used by Senior Management for key incentive design and business decisions.
Assist in the administration of comp/equity/carried interest plans, working with tax, finance, and legal.
Support the interface on the equity partner program to reinforce alignment and retention.
Manage distribution and collection of equity awards and ensuring equity data is properly tracked, summarized, and housed in compensation system.
Gather and prepare data for valuation of equity units and manage equity plan liability.
Manage equity redemptions including pre-certification for payments and working with accounting & payroll to ensure accurate processing of payments.
Support the market data and benchmarking process to ensure overall program competitiveness. Manage and operate third-party web-based compensation and equity management platform.
Work with team members in HR and Tax, along with senior management, to administer the year-end bonus process, equity partner activity and salary review.
Track and manage deferred bonus payment process including verification of any violations of covenants prior to payments being processed.
Work with Accounting on comp accruals, forecasting expenses, and reconciliations to the ledger.
Minimum 1+ years' experience in an accounting or finance oriented position ideally with some prior compensation experience within financial services. Candidates with experience in Financial Planning & Analysis will also be considered. Carried interest experience is a plus.
Expert level in excel and possess the analytical skills to build ad hoc reports from raw data.
Prior experience working with HR systems and querying data is a plus.
