Job Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for managing and directing the implementation of numerous deployments, business critical projects with complex business and technical construction requirements. Specifically, the Project Manager supports Altice's aggressive network project management initiatives which include FTTH, Node Splits, Plant Upgrades, New Build. This position represents a key function in the construction project workflow, and is responsible for the end-to-end completion of all assigned projects.
Project team members report directly into their appropriate Managers from an Employee Relations perspective. However, the Project Manager does have matrix management responsibilities for the assigned project team members and their project related assignments as well as managing and coordinating the activities between Team, the business units we support and the groups that support our initiatives.
Responsibilities & Duties
Project owner responsible for all end-to-end project activities and accountabilities for Network project management initiatives, including FTTH, Node Splits, Plant Upgrades, New Build beginning with the inception of a project through completion
Actively engages construction teams and contractors on project kick-off calls, including work start issuance and service level adherence
Provides for the timely construction of new build/upgrade cable related facilities by effectively coordinating and/or planning with other departments, utility companies, builders/developers and local governmental authorities.
Assists in scheduling and directing the construction activities of subcontractor and in-house construction crews.
Customizes timetables specific to the scope of each project to ensure the project timeline is in line with Altice's service level while ensuring the appropriate quality of work exists within each project
Assembles and coordinates project team members; assigns individual responsibilities
Provides for the timely construction of all initiatives by effectively coordinating and/or planning with other departments, utility companies, builders/developers and local governmental authorities.
Researches and makes recommendations on procedures to enhance financial and operational efficiencies
Partners to develop and deliver system wide communication regarding the progress, accountabilities and gaps in the progress of assigned projects
Manage multiple changing priorities ensuring accurate, on time deliverables.
Identifies challenges & Prioritizes business needs to success and defines solutions that prove compatible with business requirements

Qualifications
Qualification Requirements
Demonstrated organizational management skills in a highly complex, fast growing technical environment including, budget management and business planning
Knowledge of Altice USA business practices and/or industry is desirable
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with executive, senior management, peers, staff, vendors, and contractors
Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills
Proficiency in Excel and the creation of project reports required for management reporting and status updates
Ability to perform multiple tasks and adjust priorities based on workload and direction from management and customer
Ability to effectively adapt to and apply rapidly changing technology to business needs
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business (or Management), Computer Science, Engineering, Finance or a related discipline preferred. Equivalent work experience may also be used in conjunction or in place of educational requirements
Experience in Fiber Build, New Build or Node Split OSP Construction processes, including working within the existing project management software (Workfront) preferred
3+ years successful management of complex projects preferred, PMP certification a plus.
Experience in business process re-engineering or process improvement desirable, involving broad-based information systems and utilizing tools and techniques to effect business change
