We have an opening for an Associate Manager role within our Advisory Services Practice with 5-7 years experience in the federal government or federal consulting.

The Associate Manager will support REI Systems advisory services by managing select projects/workstreams for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Small Business Innovation Research/Small Business Technology Transfer (SBIR/STTR) Program Office. Qualified candidates will have demonstrable experience developing and implementing strategy, organizational change management (OCM), and Business Process Reengineering (BPR) initiatives at federal agencies.

An Associate Manager:

    Is the owner of customer-facing project delivery for advisory services and IT solutions aimed at government - Federal, State, and Local.
  • Work with and through both functional and technical project team members to deliver solutions in an agile manner.

  • Understands project requirements from both a business and a technical stand point and serves as the liaison between business users and the project team.

  • Demonstrate leadership skills to manage project resources and cultivate strong customer relationships.

  • Able to manage contractual, financial, and personnel related issues associated with project delivery.

  • People-centric leadership. Assist in recruitment, mentoring team members, and training.

  • Growth DNA. Support proposal development, new customer demos, and other pre-sales activities.

  • Develop knowledge articles and other pieces of thought leadership to advance REI's positioning.

  • Work in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment with limited process and procedure.

Required Experience/Skills

  • Candidate should have at least 3-5 years of professional project management experience to include team building and managing projects.

  • Familiarity and experience with strategy and organizational change management (OCM) best practices.

  • Experience developing and implementing process improvement and business process reengineering (BPR) initiatives on an enterprise scale.

  • Prior experience advising federal government customers and/or working in the federal government.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Must have Public Trust Clearance

A bachelor's degree in economics, business, marketing, statistics, mathematics, or related field.

A master's degree in a related field is preferred but not required.

Prior employment at a management / strategy consulting firm (e.g., McKinsey & Company, BCG, Bain, etc.) is strongly preferred.
