Expectations:

Responsible for the most efficient and effective management of resources in the billing and collection of all inpatient and outpatient accounts. This position requires flexibility, strong seasoned leadership experience and a results oriented skillset. The Manager of the Business Office stays appraised of changes within the industry regarding the type of accounts collected by the team. Provides feedback to the Director of Patient Financial Services of challenges, successes and opportunities in the units billing and collection efforts. Ensures staff are meeting goals, both qualitative and quantitative, as well as adhering to the high customer service standards expected at Huntington.

Education:
High School diploma or GED equivalent. Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Experience/Training:
5 years progressively responsible experience in a hospital business office required.

Epic Experience preferred

Skills:
Working knowledge of coding and medical terminology.
