Job Description:


Arkema is a world-class producer of industrial chemicals including acrylic monomers, emulsion systems, fluorochemicals, fluoropolymers, functional additives, hydrogen peroxide, PMMA, specialty polyamides and thiochemicals. Arkema affiliates in the Americas employ approximately 5,800 people and operate 48 sites in theUS,Canada,MexicoandBrazil

PRIMARY DUTIES


  • Transferring raw materials

  • Transferring finished materials between warehouses

  • Housekeeping

  • Assist emptying finished product out of industrial dryers

  • Maintain daily Packaging process efficiencies

  • Comply with all technical, quality control, product manufacturing and safety procedures associated with Packaging

  • Operate equipment, processing systems

  • Operate powered industrial trucks

  • Have physical dexterity in climbing stairs, ladders, heavy lifting

  • Basic computer knowledge

REQUIREMENTS


  • Minimum education requirement: High School Diploma or GED equivalent

  • Must demonstrate basic math skills

  • Must be willing to be subject to pre-employment testing including drug and alcohol and physical testing.

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a process industry or other related manufacturing type of work. Or 2 years' chemical plant production work experience

  • Minimum of 2 years' fork lift (tow motor) experience

  • Must be willing and able to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays and overtime.

  • Must demonstrate ability to adhere to and comply with all safety requirements.

  • Must be highly motivated and detail orientated

  • Must be flexible and willing to support all aspects of the manufacturing operation.
