Delivery Analyst - Work From Home at Alight Solutions in Wilmington, Delaware

The Delivery Analyst is responsible for Overpayments knowledge and ongoing operations support of Talent Administration systems and processes with a primary focus on Performance Management, Goals and Successions. The DA supports ongoing delivery through issue resolution, change requests (CRs), and standardized processes that contribute to achievement of Service Levels and Key Performance Indicators. This position involves heavy client interaction. The DA will be responsible to lead projects and CRs. The DA will identify and resolve issues through root cause analysis and then implement solutions. This role will lead and sponsor process creation, improvement initiatives, and changes within the domain. Client consultation and industry best practice awareness will be required. Positions may work across multiple areas of the domain or on multiple clients.


As a Delivery Analyst, a typical day may include the following:

Performance Cycle Administration and Performance, Goals and Succession Management:


  • System Administration

  • Data exchange support, ensuring that Output files compare to Input files

  • Research and Resolve Customer issues, including escalating issues to application vendor

  • Assist external and internal partners in troubleshooting any issues and escalations

  • Answers client questions regarding processes and functionality

  • Generates reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually schedule as required

  • Work with other teams to resolve inquires

  • Lead Cloud technology release process, including the coordination of configuration changes and testing

  • Performs complex data analysis, reporting, and data maintenance tasks to including quality assurance

  • Strong Excel skills preferred


  • Client Relationship Management:


  • Communicate effectively with the client and internal partners for analysis/resolution

  • Participate in meetings to discuss issues identified and impact on service delivery

  • Lead client interaction and facilitation on client touch-points

    Project Management:



  • Create detailed functional business requirement specifications and ensures proper testing hand-offs for integration testing

  • Conduct stakeholder interviews and stakeholder workshops for projects

  • Ensure that the process flows are complete and within the defined scope for projects

  • Identify downstream processes and impacts for projects

  • Provide status reports and communicate changes in process for project assignments

  • Assist in post-project Quality Assurance (QA) and knowledge management

  • Manage workload including ad-hoc project deliverables

  • Responsible for estimating, scheduling and directing all work activities related to projects

  • Participate in projects, ownership of project deliverables

    Other Responsibilities:



  • This position will become the SME for area of work

  • Provide input and support for best practices

  • Communicate effectively across diverse populations

  • Identify process improvements. Determine new processes

  • Conducts complex root cause analysis on employee issues and/or data issues and/or resolves and proposes solutions

  • Develops and maintains Process Documentation (SOP) for various processes as well as review documentation of other team members

  • Participate and/or lead projects using own experiences and observations

  • Special projects as needed

Required Experience:


  • 1-3 years of Payroll knowledge and experience. Overpayments experience strongly preferred.

  • Experience with Workday, SAP or other ERP system. Workday preferred.

  • Client facing experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines managing multiple tasks

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, Excel (pivot tables, macros).

  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently with direction from senior team members

Preferred Experience:


  • Workday experience

  • Overpayments experience

  • Payroll experience

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of industry experience required.
