Section 1: Position Summary
Timely and Accurate completion of actuarial valuations and government filings for Cash Balance Plans.
Section 2: Job Functions, Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for protecting, securing, and proper handling of all confidential data held by Ascensus to ensure against unauthorized access, improper transmission, and/or unapproved disclosure of information that could result in harm to Ascensus or our clients.

Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned
Prepare actuarial valuations on cash balance plans
Prepare Form 5500, Sch SB and PBGC Premium Payments
Reconcile Market to Market Trusts
Assist with plan terminations; Form 6088
Perform contribution projections for future years
Perform cash balance plan studies
Perform special benefit calculations (e.g., 110% calculation, required minimum distribution) for cash balance plans
Use and critique existing processes for day-to-day work
Complete checklists
Keep files organized and up-to-date
Update Workflow daily
Special projects
Provide back up to other teams as necessary (eg., L&W, testing, Plan Doc)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical ideas
Strong computer skills, including Excel Macros
Detail-oriented and accurate
Self-starter who will take responsibility for completing tasks in a timely fashion
Ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize
Team player
