What we're looking for:

You are an engineering manager with 10+ years of experience within software engineering. You have experience with AWS or Azure at scale and are well versed working in an Agile environment. If you have 3+ year of experience directly managing or leading engineering teams of individual contributors, we'd love to speak with you!

Position Overview:
Citrix is rapidly developing and expanding its portfolio of large-scale cloud applications across all product lines, including app/desktop virtualization, networking, and content collaboration. These applications must deliver enterprise-grade performance, reliability, and integration while leveraging consumer internet economies of scale in multiple clouds (and in hybrid scenarios that reach behind the enterprise firewall). This requires excellent architecture and a dev-ops mindset in software development, operations, and site reliability engineering.

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop, coach, mentor individuals and teams and ensure high performance in a fast-paced environment




• Serve as Product Owner for at least one engineering feature team




• Participate in recruiting, interviewing and onboarding new employees




• Craft a meaningful vision for the team, working with cross functional stakeholders




• Groom, manage and prioritize the feature team backlog




• Represent the product and the team in PI planning, and incorporate stakeholder and team ideas into the roadmap




• Manage prioritization, trade-offs and set appropriate expectations for delivery




• Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team's ability to meet strategic and technical goals

Basic Qualifications:

• Requires broad management knowledge to lead project teams in one department




• Has mastery level knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with broad understanding of other areas within the job function




• Requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience




• 3 years of experience with managing individual contributors or equivalent




• Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)




• Excellent written and verbal communication skills




• Experience working in an Agile environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a SAFe environment
