About the Role:

Micro Focus is seeking a seasoned sales professional who can build a relationship with some of our top strategic accounts in Texas while supporting pipeline development, competing vigorously in the market to grow Micro Focus market share. You'll be responsible for identifying new opportunities across the 4 security pillars and maintaining customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is motivated by successful new product placements, coaching and mentoring others, and has the right balance of technical and business acumen and a background in selling security software

In this role, you will:


  • Build a relationship with a small number of Micro Focus strategic accounts - large current Micro Focus customers.


  • Identify opportunities to sell new security software into these customers while working closely with the assigned overall Micro Focus strategic account manager.


  • Be responsible for a multi-million dollar revenue flow from the Security portfolio, both net new and renewal.


  • Gain a strong understanding of the present and future security needs of these accounts while positioning Micro Focus products to help address the requirements.


Qualifications:



  • 7+ years successful of security software sales experience in similar space/accounts with proven track record in:



    • Pursuing net new clients, developing business and networking with passion


    • Developing deep customer relationships


    • Creating strong business relationships


    • Negotiating large enterprise software deals


    • Background in successfully selling security operations software ideal




  • Experience in one or more of the 4 Micro Focus Security Pillars: Application Security, Identity & Access, Data Security and Security Operations.


  • Demonstrated, verifiable achievement of consistent, over quota attainment.


  • Excellent communication skills, collaboration, and ability to navigate a matrixed organization.


  • Internal drive and self-motivation


  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
