Join our world class Research and Development team focused on developing leading-edge solutions for the current and emerging wireless RF Market targeting the RF Front End portion of Smart Phones and other mobile devices. Develop innovative multi-mode single-band and multi-band multi-mode Front End Modules (FEMs) for standards such as W-CDMA, HSDPA/HSUPA, LTE, LTE-Advanced, and NR 5G to shape our next-generation product family. You will be part of a winning project team designing highly integrated modules. You will be an integral part of the development team responsible for hardware bring up and optimization. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Design and bring up of test systems (HW/SW) for module characterization and troubleshooting
Define, coordinate and/or conduct experiments for module performance optimization and design down selection
Collect, analyze and report findings to respective Project Managers
Monitor highly automated tests.Supervise technician(s) and utilize their help with test preparation
Review/Present/Explain/Expand the system-generated plots and data visualizations
Dig deeper into the data: skilled in developing and maintainingSW modules for on-the-fly data analytics
Proficient in use of RF test equipment including characterization of Low Noise Amplifiers, Power Amplifiers, High Power High Isolation Multi-Throw Switches, various Coexistence and Noise Power Filters and auxiliary circuits
3 or more years of work experience in RF & Microwave
RF instrument exposure to at least one of the following:
Spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, non-linear vector network analyzers, signal sources, signal analyzers, power meters, etc.
Proficient in use of DC/Transient equipment
Knowledge of Excel, power point, word and/or Google Docs
Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-oriented, team environment
Demonstrated ability to work independently, create and meet schedules
Knowledge and experience with Cellular Power Amplifiers, RF Switches and RF MEMS processes is a strong plus
Strong Communication Skills
Master of Science in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis on RF/Microwave Technology and 3+ years experience or Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis on RF/Microwave Technology and 5+ years experience
Hands-on lab experience in VNA calibrations (E-Cal & on-wafer), Keysight and NI instruments
Familiarity with 3GPP specifications and testing requirements
Familiarity with programming languages like Perl, Python, Matlab, LabView, VEE, C++, C#, etc.
Data processing skills & exposure to data analyzing programs like JMP, R, Python, etc.
Instrument automation experience.
