AC Maintenance Technician at 1st Lake Properties in Metairie, Louisiana

$1,500 Sign-On Bonus

We are a highly-regarded property management firm in the greater New Orleans area.  We pride ourselves on providing our residents with best-in-class service through impeccable property management services and responsive support.

We are currently in need of experienced AC Maintenance Technicians to join our team of property management professionals at our Metairie, Kenner and River Ridge, LA apartment communities.  

The ideal candidates will have a background in property maintenance and will have a license to work with refrigerant. 

AC Maintenance Technician Responsibilities

• Provide our residents with HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repair services in a friendly, courteous and expedient manner


• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents move-ins


• Participate in an on-call rotation with other maintenance technicians for emergency after-hours calls


• Complete required paperwork such as inventory logs, service tickets and daily recap sheets

AC Maintenance Technician Qualifications

• Experience with repairs in HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance matters


• EPA Section 608 certified to work with refrigerants (we can test and certify you if needed)


• Owns tools and reliable transportation; and, has a valid driver's license


• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening


• Ability to work in an on-call rotation for emergency calls
