Job Description:

Qualifications/Responsibilities include the following:

• Ability to teach a variety of fitness classes on land and water;


• Ability to provide wellness coaching;


• CPR & First Aid certification; certification, education and experience in fitness-related programming;


• Recreational, arts, and/or sports background a plus;


• Ability and desire to be supportive and empathetic to older adult(s);


• Ability to work with minimal supervision; good verbal communication and listening skills;


• Organizational skills, creativity, flexibility and self-motivation;


• Possesses Ohio Child Abuse History Clearance;


• Expresses interest in residents’ activity preference and cooperating with individual needs and interests;


• Lifeguard Certification a plus. Willing to obtain certification and is a strong swimmer.

Work Schedule is Monday - Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm, with 30-minute unpaid meal break with flexibility to adjust schedule when necessary to meet the needs of programming.
