Job Description:






Principal Accountabilities


In addition to the following Epson's policies and procedures, principle accountabilities include, but are not limited to:



Product Development



  1. Provides input into the development of product road maps for assigned product(s).

  2. Coordinates with SEC to monitor product development process and makes recommendations for meeting market needs to product management team.

  3. Conducts and analyzes market information and provides interpretation.


Product Management



  1. Works closely with Marketing Communications, Documentation, Service/Support, Logistics, SEC, and other groups to manage the product throughout its lifecycle.

  2. Provides input into positioning and pricing of assigned product(s).

  3. With some guidance, establishes structured processes for a complete product launch for assigned product(s).

  4. Collaborates with sales and logistics organizations to optimize product forecast and product procurement.

  5. Provides input into key advertising and promotions tactics for assigned product(s).

  6. Manages end of product lifecycle and transition to minimize inventory and ensure launch time frames are met.

  7. Serves as internal and external PR spokesperson for assigned product(s).

  8. Supports the company at events, including sales meetings and trade shows.

  9. Supports the sales team in customer visits and presentations.

  10. Conducts competitive analysis and benchmarking for assigned product(s).

  11. Initiates and maintains relationships with industry trade groups, analysts, and publications.



Relationship Management









1. Responsible for hiring, motivating, evaluating, developing group/department personnel.

2. Provides coaching and mentoring to team members.

3. Advises management and provides recommendations on personnel and problem issues ( that require escalation).

4. Builds strong relationships with peers and Senior Managers to best meet company goals and objectives.

5. Manages and leverages relationships with vendors for a specific product/service (best price, best product, etc).

6. Maintains professional relationships with peers in other corporations and outside organizations.





Responsible forleading the development, planning, positioning and launching activities of assigned Epson product(s), and providing input into the forecasting and successful procurement of product.

Collaborates with/Key Customers includeSEC, Product Leadership Team, Marketing Communications, and Sales.

Minimum Experience Requirements

B - Requires some specialist or admin experience (2- 5 years)

Education

D - Completion of an undergraduate program or equivalent experience (B.A. or B.S.).
