We're looking for a creative, motivated, and passionate UI Designer to join the Digital Marketing Team in our Winston-Salem, NC headquarters. This is a hybrid position that may require onsite work. Candidates willing & able to commute into Winston-Salem, NC or our NYC Design Hub are encouraged to apply.
In this role, you'll be responsible for:
- Designing compelling digital brand experiences that seamlessly guide users through end-to-end shopping experiences;
- Zeroing in on users' underlying emotional and functional needs - then helping execute on those discoveries to create an enjoyable and dynamic online shopping experience; and
- Playing a key role creating customer-centric design solutions that adapt and scale to global audience needs.
A great attitude, the ability to keep cool under pressure, and the ability to speak and write clearly is essential. Bonus points if you have a passion for fashion and love socks!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design journey maps, navigation design, sitemaps, detailed wireframes, UI design, and more to support Renfro's digital presence
- Create design solutions that are customer centric and that can adapt/scale for global audience needs
- Align with the brand teams to ensure consistent branding and merchandising
- Responsible for UI design for company-owned digital platforms, DTC sites, intranet, and corporate websites
- Collaborates with DTC digital marketing team, site experience, creative services, IT teams
- Inspiring new ways of thinking and exploring the unknown using fresh approaches to design problems while applying your knowledge of standard methodologies and user-centered design principles to build simple, beautiful and seamless workflows
- Help create, maintain and adhere to digital design guidelines
- Research regional best practices and develop UI recommendations
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Submit online portfolio with samples of their design work to be considered for the position
- Cross-platform design experience (Web, Android, iOS, emails)
- Good at presenting your work; learning to communicate design intentions and the gravity around ideas
- A fascination with design, innovation and technology and a solid understanding of digital tools and trends
- Bachelor's Degree (Graphic Design or similar preferred)
- Minimum 3-5 years professional experience
- Minimum 3-5 years eCommerce or retail experience
- Retail, ecommerce, Apparel, or accessories experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative work setting
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
- Extensive knowledge of Adobe CS: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
- After Effects, and/or motion graphics knowledge preferred
- Animation and/or prototyping skills to demonstrate flows and interaction
- Proficient with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe CC, Principle and Keynote
- Knowledge of trends and best-practices in the design landscape
- Self-motivated, resourceful and works with a positive attitude
- Experience working with outside vendors or partners
- Familiar with ShopifyPlus and/or Salesforce
