Temporary Warehouse/Shipping Associate at Bio-Rad Laboratories in Woodinville, Washington

Job Description:

Individuals in this temporary assignment perform various physical tasks involved in the shipping, receiving and warehousing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.

Responsibilities

Loads and unloads trucks and other distribution channel storage and transportation containers. Ensures all documentation is processed on time.

Process work orders, receipts, consolidated pick lists, requisitions, returns.

Prepares goods for final shipment for both domestic and international orders. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped.

Maintains and prepares various records, reports and documentation. Performs cycle counts and otherroutine and non-routine physical tasks involved in the shipping customer orders, parts, supplies and equipment. Loads and unloads trucks and other distribution channel storage and transportation containers. Ensures all documentation is processed on time.

Qualifications

Shipping/Receiving experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Domestic and export shipping experience in a manufacturing environment with perishable products preferred.

Ability to obtain and maintain a Dangerous Goods Certification and fork lift operator's certification

Ability to communicate in writing to explain, describe and convey messages.
Aptitude for detailed work and multi-task organizational skills.
Ability to utilize computer and accompanying software for customer order processing, spreadsheet and word processing applications.

Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for periods of time.
