Pentair is currently seeking a Sr Manager, Business Operations & Analytics experienced in developing and executing growth strategies. As the Sr Manager of Business Operations, you will be responsible for leading the Business Analytics team supporting our Commercial Filtration and Direct-to-Consumer water filtration and services categories. This position reports directly to the Water Solutions Business Unit Leader and will work cross-functionally to enable the team to be more data and process driven. The focus of this critical position is to support and drive growth within the Water Solutions Business Unit while increasing our overall efficiency and effectiveness.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Lead the data analytics team in developing end-to-end data solutions, from gathering requirements from business stakeholders to building solutions and partnering with end-users to ensure successful implementation.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization including sales, strategic marketing, digital marketing, ecommerce, service operations, finance, and customer service to identify opportunities to learn, react and take proactive action to market dynamics.

  • Drive data-driven insights through leading analytics solutions to develop business intelligence that will become part of core reporting to gain insight on the health of the business as well as execution of strategic programs and commercialization plans.

  • Provide commercial operations execution analysis and insights including field sales performance forecasting, scenario testing, and analysis designed to provide insights into sales enablement and alignment for incentive compensation goals.

  • Lead the organization's efforts to create an advanced analytics layer of our data environment to make data standardized and easily accessible for driving business growth.

Skills and Experience Requirements:


  • BS or BA degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred

  • 10-15 years of experience in similar business/function role, consumer goods and service network experience a plus.

  • Proven ability to conduct sophisticated and creative analysis while translating the results into easily digestible messages, communications and presentations.

  • Strong business acumen and ability to translate business problems to data-driven solutions

  • Experience designing and developing business-facing dashboards, and data visualizations on BI platforms such as Tableau or Power BI

  • Intellectually curious, results-oriented, and collaborative partner to functional business leaders

  • B2C experience - consumer durables B2B and B2C experience a plus

  • Proficiency in SQL (preferred)

  • Experience with advanced data science techniques and platforms such as R, Python, SAS (preferred)
