Sayres provides engineering and management support to PMW 160 to fulfill architecture, analysis, interoperability assessments, engineering, Configuration Management (CM), technical management services, Science and Technology, Verification, Validation, and Certification, Software Engineering Support, Cost Engineering and Economic Analysis, Reliability and Systems Safety Assurance Engineering and Analysis, Integration, and Interoperability (I&I), Future Capabilities and new construction ships.

Responsibilities

In support of PMW 160, the Data Analyst will:

• Support S&T CONOPS with engineering, analysis & assessment, and Operational Information Technology (OP-IT) overview.


• Support Program Management Office (PMO) with Database (DB)/WEB Tool support: data collection, data entry, data analysis, Technology Assessment and Portfolio Tool Management (SharePoint).


• Develop and maintain a "skunk works" like process designed to quickly identify, migrate, test, demonstrate and deploy available or near-term Information Dominance innovative technologies ahead of the normal program of record acquisition cycle.


• Develop a process to set up innovation exploration opportunities, capture ideas and issues that need innovation & fall under the ID umbrella that we can change/influence/ improve. Assist in execution of approved innovation challenges and events. Evaluate results of innovation events.

Required Experience and Abilities

• Minimum of five (5) years data analyst experience within the Defense Industry/Department of the Navy or comparable Government Agencies.


• Ability to perform data analyst support functions.


• Ability to working with the principles of data analysis as it relates to purchasing, handling, control, and transportation of material and other property.


• Ability to work independently.


• Ability to perform tasks in support of data analyst projects.


• Ability to direct and supervise other Data Analysts or support personnel.

Education, Work Experience, and Skills Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/training required.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and MS Project is desired


• SECRET clearance
