The Client Services Coordinator assures client satisfaction and optimize company growth through timely and appropriate responses to client requests for services and information.
Responsibilities
Answers incoming phone calls to department's call handling and quality standards,
Uses customer service and follow-up techniques to convert email, phone, and web inquiries to admissions of service,
Completes client profile forms for all service requests and submits information to appropriate departmental personnel for approval,
Collaborates with Visiting Nurse Service of New York Intake staff to facilitate the referral process,
Works with Clinical Managers and Administrative Supervisors in assessing risk and availability for staffing new admissions,
Obtains accurate and complete billing and/or insurance information as well as credit card processing as necessary,
Identifies any issues which affect service delivery through regular, on-going communication with administrative staff, clients, referral sources, and clinical management staff as necessary,
Participates as required in developing and implementing procedures, which maximize operational efficiencies,
Participates in the Quality Assurance program as instructed by the department Director,
Participates in weekend on-call rotation to meet departmental needs,
Participates in special projects related to the Private Care program,
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education: High School diploma or equivalency required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience: Two (2) years related customer service work experience preferably in a health care or social service setting. Phone/and or call center experience is required. Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus.
