Summary of Major Responsibilities

The Senior Product Marketing Manager, Oncotype DX GPS will be responsible for driving marketing strategy, initiatives, and providing comprehensive support across the entire spectrum of marketing activity for the Oncotype DX GPS product. This role will manage brand strategy and associated marketing materials, promoting and educating physicians on Oncotype DX GPS.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Provide market brand and competitor insights.
  • Drive share and market growth.

  • Work directly with urologists to gain input, insights, and build relationships.

  • Responsible for tools and programs focused on physicians.

  • Liaise directly with various outside vendors including ad agencies and freelancers.

  • Work directly with internal parties, especially the sales organization as well as the training and market research departments.

  • Handle questions and requests related to department programs and functions and keep current on all technical and clinical data associated with the Oncotype DX GPS assay.

  • Attend outside congresses and medical meetings and prepare reports to convey scientific or competitive information that may affect our markets, as needed.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently in fast paced changing environment with deadlines.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Ability to talk to KOL's and stakeholders in the urology community.

  • Ability to integrate and apply feedback in a professional manner.

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple, simultaneous, complex tasks and to meet deadlines.

  • Strong written communication skills to include, writing memos, letters, and data analyses with proper grammar and spelling.

  • Ability to maintain open communication and composure with internal stakeholders, managers, and customers.

  • Strong analytical skills with scientific papers and market intelligence.

  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

  • Ability to work nights and/or weekends, as needed.

  • Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 80% of a typical working day.

  • Ability to travel 30% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications


  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Biology, or field relevant to Diagnostics or Urology.

  • 10+ years of experience in brand marketing and/or sales functions in pharmaceuticals or diagnostics.

  • Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative in cases where decisions need to be made and supervisors are not available to consult, coupled with the tact and judgment to do so appropriately.

  • Demonstrated success in a controlled regulatory environment and ability to work in compliant environment.

  • Demonstrated success managing vendors and partners including holding them accountable to a high standard including timelines, deliverables, and budget.

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced and fast changing environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.

  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within urology.
