Supervisor Procurement
Responsibilities

Supervises and develops a team of Procurement Assistants and Purchasing Analysts with cross functional procurement responsibilities. This includes but is not limited to hiring, termination and performance/talent management.

Coordinates activities of individuals responsible for material procurement.

Manages the quality of inventory in regards to excess, aging and obsolete

Facilitates problem resolution and escalation (tactical and strategic)

Adheres to Compliance and Procurement policies as well as the Vision, Mission and Values of Nexeo Solutions

Generates and analyzes reports in relation to set metrics. Makes recommendation to management based on findings.

Collaboration between internal/external partners to achieve common goals
Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in Purchasing, Logistics, Supply Chain (a combination of education and experience will be considered)

5+ years of Procurement/Purchasing experience

2-3 years supervisory experience

Knowledge of SAP a plus

Strong analytical skills required

Experience with Microsoft Office package

Excellent communication (written & verbal) skills

Ability to work independently and in a fast paced environment

Results Driven
