Summary of Major Responsibilities

The Product Lifecycle Management Associate Director, Breast and Colon Cancer, will provide comprehensive support across the entire spectrum of strategy, product road mapping, and assessing expansion opportunities for the oncotype DX breast and colon recurrence score assays as well as future products and solutions for both disease states. This position will provide product management responsibilities; including, but not limited to, the development of long- and short-term strategic plans, development of new patient reports and test requisition forms, ensure seamless integration of new products into the order-to-reports infrastructure, and ensure superior customer experience. The Product Lifecycle Management Associate Director, Breast and Colon Cancer will create strategic rationales, competitive analysis, market sizing, financial modeling, evidence generation strategies, medical and clinical reviews, commercialization strategies, and support product launches and improvements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Lead ideation, development, and socialization of strategies within breast and colon cancer.
• Respond to questions and requests related to global and local strategies and keep current on all technical and clinical data associated with the assays.


• Work directly and develop positive working relationships with internal stakeholders across all business units; including, but not limited to, commercial marketing, corporate strategy, market access, corporate communications, regulatory, legal, medical affairs, and sales operations on a wide range of projects.


• Create departmental memoranda and presentations, as needed.


• Serve as a product champion for the products.


• Collaborate effectively across the organization and cross functionally to gain alignment, as needed.


• Attend outside meetings and prepare reports to convey scientific or competitive information that may affect our strategies, as needed.

• Ability and means to travel 25% between local Exact Sciences Redwood City locations.


• Ability to travel 30% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Biology, or field as outlined in the essential duties.


• 8+ years of experience in the genomics industry.


• Demonstrated ability to master complex scientific material and convey the concepts to physicians and internal stakeholders, compellingly and collaboratively.


• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.


• Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.


• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Business Administration, Public Health, or field as outlined in the essential duties.


• Domain experience with breast cancer.


• Experience in creating 5-year strategic plans.
