User Experience Designer

As a User Experience Designer you need to be highly collaborative, and able to take initiative to lead on key projects. This role is for a naturally artistic and creative thinker featuring a portfolio of high-quality, pixel-perfect design work.
We are looking for someone who…
Someone who is passionate about UX design with a mobile first approach. 80+% of our brand sites are visited by users on mobile devices.
Ability to confidently speak about and present your work to an array of stakeholders in alignment with research and data-driven insights.
Present and sell creative concepts and designs to both the internal teams and stakeholders alike; along with being comfortable voicing an opinion.
Able to talk through and explain design solutions in a clear and understandable way along with being able to give concise (yet kind) feedback to other team members if needed.
Excellent time management skills, both for your own time prioritization but also in managing external teams and partners on projects (external vendors). Organization and providing clear visibility
Responsibilities:
Conceive, Plan and Lead the development of high-end, effective digital products.
Create or assist with information architecture and UX design for complex interactive projects.
Define digital strategies. Produce UX and UI requirements, architecture artifacts, wireframes, prototypes and documentation.
Become a zealous “user” advocate.
Facilitate internal team communication, bridging the gap between Strategy and Design.
Communicate the value of design principles to partners.
Lead initiatives from the perspective of UX design.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or equivalent
3-5 years of UX design experience
Portfolio (Online portfolio required)
Experience in user-centered design, design thinking tools and methods
Design strategy to problem-solve and develop new products
Figma expertise (Sketch / InVision and Adobe XD as well)
Experience with animation and interaction design are a bonus
Comfortable working as a member of a global team and confident to take part in interviews, workshops and interactions with consumers during usability testing
Highly professional and collaborative as a person; always wants to do their best work, and to help the team do theirs as well
No coding required but familiarity with standard coding languages is a plus (Ex: HTML/CSS and JS)
Certifications (CUA, General Assembly, etc.) are a bonus
