Job Description: 

Senior Scientist - Product positions offered by Kimberly-Clark Corporation. (Neenah, WI). Work as a member of the Global Research & Engineering, Science Technology & Capabilities (ST&C) team to develop and implement new product, process, material or technology concepts in support of Kimberly-Clark’s technology portfolio. Analyze gaps in standard methods and develops new test methods collaboratively with GR&E analytical, physical and modeling teams to close gaps. Define need for new testing method, improve research plans, find synergies and gaps in learning plans and/or improve research planning processes. Support and lead R&E initiatives to provide Value to Customer and Value to Kimberly-Clark with winning product and cost savings.  Develop and execute projects to ensure cost effective product and material solutions are identified and adopted while maintaining or strengthening product position in the marketplace. Develop and utilize knowledge and skills to be recognized as an effective implementer of research principles, scientific analysis, and project management.

Minimum Requirements: 

Requires a bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in engineering, manufacturing or a related field and 7 years of experience in the position offered or 7 years of experience developing quality improvements and research and leading technical training for operations and engineers.  Also requires 7 years of experience developing packing and machine processes to lead improvements with train the trainer model; and supporting process and product development across multicultural and cross functional teams.  In lieu of a bachelor’s degree in aforementioned fields and 7 years of experience as stated, employer will accept a master’s degree in aforementioned fields and 4 years of experience as stated. Requires 4 years of experience: performing product research or engineering in a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods organization involving nonwovens, tissue, adult, feminine or baby and child care products; performing product management and product development for global and cross-functional customers; developing and executing research plans for product optimization and overall customer experience. Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
