Job Summary

This position is responsible for oversight of the digital lending channels including creating strategy, development of products and services, and identifying new opportunities through selective FinTech partnerships.  The position will act as a liaison between each line of business, vendors, and key stakeholders to ensure the digital services are configured to meet business needs and operate within compliance standards, policies, and operations of the bank. 

The Digital Lending Channel Manager also provides content and expertise to internal business partners during stages of channel management to ensure successful testing, implementation, sales, and operational support are achieved prior to launch.  It will also provide guidance to ensure digital lending channel offerings fulfill the needs of our customers, remains competitive, and supports the strategic initiatives of the bank

Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions


  • Keeps leadership abreast of changes in the industry and incorporates relevant trends into future strategic initiatives.

  • Responsible for leading the strategic goals of the channel based off a thorough understanding of the bank’s strategic digital lending priorities.

  • Maintains an in-depth understanding of the governing rules and regulations of the channel.

  • Leads and manages the complete channel lifecycle from idea generation through end of life/sunset.

  • Compares vendor service offerings to highlight capabilities, implementation/ongoing cost, implementation/enhancement benefits, revenue and ROI estimates, transition timeline, risk, and resource estimates in preparation to actively sponsor and manage each project.

  • Scopes project requirements to gather and gain consensus on channel/service requirements from bank stakeholders and selected third party vendors/systems.

  • Partners with Finance and Business Intelligence on dashboard and reporting statistics.

  • Partners with Marketing to manage product, price, promotion, and placement inside the digital lending channels.

  • Collaborates and engages with Compliance, Internal Audit, and Enterprise Risk on deeper aspects of digital channel management and policy/practice review.

  • Responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance.

  • Maintains and demonstrates proficiency with all active technology solutions.

  • Works with system providers to ensure we utilize applications to fullest capacity.

  • Analyzes, prepares, and trains for periodic updates to system software.

  • Understands business issues and opportunities to recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.

  • Presents regularly to the Technology and Operations Steering Committee (TOSC) to confirm strategic project prioritization.

  • Meets regularly with leaders of each line of business as well as operations management to coordinate assignments and ensure timely completion of all deliverables.

  • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.

Job Requirements

Education:


  • Bachelor’s degree required.

Required:


  • Minimum of five years’ experience in product management, digital channel management, payment systems, or commercial deposit or digital applications.

  • Ability to think and manage strategically, and to objectively analyze and evaluate issues to make an informed decision.

  • Excels in learning and understanding new technologies.

  • Experience working both independently, and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills.

  • Highly logical, technically proficient, and highly self-motivated and directed with a sharp attention to detail.

  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.

  • Broad familiarity with financial account processing systems including Fiserv Signature and Sagent LoanServ.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products.

Preferred:


  • Master’s Degree.
