Job Description:
Overall Purpose: Responsible for managing and providing support for financial systems.
Key Roles and Responsibilities: Responsible for updating and maintaining financial systems including exporting and importing of files into database, modifying system menus and spreadsheets for analysis and troubleshooting. Provides technical/functional expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing financial systems and may act as a liaison to IT for system programming and coding. May prepares data sets, statistical reports, and computer applications to support the finance organization. Assist with testing on financial modules to ensure they are working effectively and efficiently and that proper security is in place. Works on most phases of financial systems development and maintenance. Job Contribution: Receives predetermined work assignments with specific instructions, and works on simple to moderately complex problems, following standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained. Brings inconsistencies and problems to the attention of management.
Education: Typically high school diploma or GED preferred, specialized skill training or certification may be required. Experience: Typically requires 3-5 years of experience. Supervisory: No.
