Position Description Responsible for reliability, scrap, process improvements, planning, organizing and the control of the Injection Department.
Responsibilities:
Ensures Site’s Quality, Reliability, Scrap and Safety goals are maintained at all times.
Ensures products are in accordance with the customer specified requirements.
Ensures adherence to BOS and SAP standards and activities.
Resolves equipment and quality problems in the production department.
Monitors changeovers, productivity and scrap.
Monitors production and maintenance schedules.
Reports on the effectiveness and performance of assigned site department to Conversion Manager or other executive leadership.
Participates in and reports to all applicable line, leadership and management meetings as needed.
Responsible for consistent compliance by production employees to all local and Company safety rules as well as any other regulatory standards.
Coordinates efforts with Human Resources regarding issues relating to staffing, discipline, employee relations, training, etc. in a timely manner for resolution.
Responsible for ensuring that all production associates are following and maintaining GMP and 5S program and procedures.
Responsible for new hire training, annual updates and refresher classes.
Other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Associates or Bachelors degree or related experience in Industrial Technology.
Strong mathematical and analytical skills as demonstrated by pre-hire or pre-promotion screening and testing, transcripts and/or verifiable references.
Strong written communication skills as demonstrated by testing, transcripts or other designated methods.
Excellent interpersonal skills as demonstrated in the context of the interview process.
