The Territory Manager is primarily responsible for identifying, structuring, pricing and closing complex finance transactions for existing bank clients and prospects across a 1-3 state territory. This position will report to the Regional Coverage Manager.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Work closely with assigned Product Specialists in order to effectively and efficiently meet new volume and revenue objectives for assigned coverage territory
Work together with Client/Relationship Managers from multiple areas of the firm in order to finance equipment of selected clients/prospects in a tax effective, efficient and low cost manner
Facilitate relationships with Bank Credit Managers and teams within assigned market coverage responsibilities
Cover territory consisting of 1-3 states
Provide in-depth education to Bank Client/Relationship Managers on products and processes
Perform portfolio reviews with all assigned Client/Relationship Managers and, in conjunction with their own market knowledge, identify customers/prospects with \"high probability\" for product sales
Track opportunities through the pipeline stage through closing/booking
Maintain contributory role in Bank Market meetings; Provide timely feedback and business activity results to Market Mangers
Develop a strong knowledge of overall products within the firm, allowing referral of clients/prospects to other product groups or lines of business when appropriate alternatives are identified
Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years' experience in leasing sales or equipment finance
Expert knowledge of lease finance products as well as industry standards and regulations
Strategic mindset and ability to drive both strategic and tactical efforts as necessary
Firm grasp of Present Value calculations, financial analysis and lease/finance pricing models
Preference will be given to candidates with the requisite leasing or equipment finance background and experience.
Must be able to work independently, and extensive travel is required
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience required
