Director of Software Engineering, Finance & Ledger Solutions

This role is focused on delivering software developed in the Platform Engineering team at Inmar Intelligence across all three divisions, MarTech, FinTech, and SupplyTech.

Primary Accountabilities:


  • Lead, manage, and grow multiple teams of engineers where you will be a talent enabler by expanding our inclusive culture and mindfully growing our people.


  • You will be part of our Winston Salem community bringing awareness to who Inmar Intelligence is and attracting amazing talent to our organization.


  • Work within and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across full-stack development tools and technologies.


Initial Goals:


  • Design, build, integrate, and expand on a full order-to-cash system with an immutable data core and service APIs, integrating with Oracle Fusion and Salesforce at the API level.


  • Work with application teams to onboard them according to a business value based backlog.


  • Own the technological direction for the future of the integrated Inmar Intelligence Platform.


Required Qualification: 


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related Engineering field


  • At least 9 years experience in software engineering


  • At least 7 years of experience managing software engineering teams



  • Core Technology Experience in



    • Financial systems


    • Cryptography, in particular immutable databases


    • Ledger





  • Essential Skills:



    • Distributed Systems


    • Cloud Deployment


    • Data Modeling/Structures (inside and between enterprise systems)


    • Service Contract and API development and management




  • Demonstrated work or educational experience in finance, finance processes, or disciplines


Preferred Qualifications:


  • 12+ years experience in software engineering


  • 10+ years of experience managing software engineering teams


  • 4+ years of experience with GCP, AWS and/or Azure



  • Specific Technologies a plus
