Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare is currently seeking a full-time or part-time Outpatient Therapist to add to our team of professionals.  This position will work in our Outpatient Program at our Posey County (Mt. Vernon, IN) office.

  WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR?

  
  
  • Provide individual, family and group therapy to children and adults on an outpatient basis.
  
  
  • Both mental health and addictions treatment will be included.
  
  
  • Position also provides clinical assessment, crisis intervention and treatment services to assigned outpatient populations to ensure the delivery of excellent patient care.
     
  
  

WHAT'S REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION?

• Applicants must have a Master's degree in Social Work, LSW, LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC. MSW candidates not currently licensed must obtain a temp LSW within first 60 days of employment, pass the LSW exam within 3 months of hire, and the LCSW within six months of eligibility.


• Applicant must have knowledge of relevant clinical issues and 12-step programs.


• Candidates must pass required background checks including county/state checks, fingerprinting, CPS check, sex offender registry check, and drug screen.
