The Manager supports and drives the analytical needs of the Revenue Management and wider Commercial organization. The team reports out both internally and externally on the holistic revenue health of the company. The Manger oversees answering the challenging revenue questions using data and strong analytical skills to provide answers and recommendations. They are also responsible for forecasting flight revenue from both a short term and long term planning viewpoint, including the annual budget process. The Manager will also develop dashboards; KPI's and reports to measure effectiveness of revenue generation and tracking initiatives. In addition, the Manager cultivates the development of their Crewmembers skill sets and analytical prowess.
Essential Responsibilities
Be the key revenue storyteller by presenting performance trends on a regular basis to leadership
Curate regularly cadenced Exec level reporting dashboards that meet the needs of the targeted audiences
Proactively unveil revenue opportunities by utilizing complex data sets and strong analytical skills
Model both short and long term revenue forecast to support internal and external needs
Collaborate with other Revenue Management and Commercial leaders to drive incremental revenue
Perform ad hoc analysis and create models to make robust recommendations in support of revenue initiatives as well as monitor and iterate once launched
Oversee submission of critical reports to external business partners such as the DOT and A4A
Take a significant role in the development of Crewmembers to support their personal and business goals

Minimum Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field
Five (5) years of analytical or quantitative experience
Two (2) years of Revenue Management experience
Ability to think critically while utilizing complex data sets to drive clear recommendations and insights
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite especially Excel
Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
Ability to multi-task, work under tight deadlines and produce error-free work
Pass a ten (10) year background check, pre-employment drug test and criminal history records check (when applicable).
Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
Seven (7) years of analytical or quantitative experience
Experience within the airline industry
Implementing advanced statistical models and forecasts
Full understanding of the Tableau or like business intelligence tool
Strong track record of communicating insights to leadership
Experience using programming language to extract large datasets

Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
Well-groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance
When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
