    Reports to Director. Observes telemetry monitors and recognizes arrhythmias. Prioritizes and transcribes doctor/nursing orders accurately and in a timely manner. Provides safe patient environment. Exhibits exceptional patient experience by upholding Beacon values of respect, trust, integrity and compassion. Functions within the relationship based care nursing model.

  • Education and Experience
    
    • The knowledge, skills, and abilities as indicated below are normally acquired through the successful completion of a High School Diploma or equivalent. Must have passing score on basic dysrhythmia test upon hire or before completion of orientation. Must successfully complete periodic dysrhythmia exams with a minimum score of 80% and get all lethal rhythms correct. Medical terminology required.     • Current knowledge of basic cardiac dysrhythmia.
      
      
    
    
    • Identifies and communicates abnormal EKG patterns.
      
      
    
    
    • Must successfully complete periodic dysrhythmia exams with a minimum score of 80% and get all lethal rhythms correct.
