The Maintenance Manager ensures the day-to-day operation and reliability of the plant production and utility systems including corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance of the plant process equipment and utility support systems.

Location: Spokane WA

Direct Reports:

• 5 direct reports:  1 Maintenance Planner and 4 Technicians

Experience-Education (Required):

• High school/GED degree.




• 3+ years supervisory experience with 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.

Competencies-Skills (Required):

• Strong technical aptitude and experience with different computer systems.




• Demonstrated experience with basic electrical systems, compressors, welding, conveyers, gearing, hydraulics, packaging, pneumatics, preventive maintenance, and pumps.




• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate others and work with employees at all levels of the organization.




• PLC knowledge and troubleshooting skills.




• Ability to effectively communicate and problem solve.

Experience-Education (Preferred):

• Bachelor’s with 5+ years of operations maintenance experience. 




• Experience in managing a unionized workforce.

Competencies-Skills (Preferred):

• Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite. 




• Understand maintenance planning and scheduling. 




• Have thorough understanding of PLC's and programming, management principles. 




• Understands World Class and Best in Industry maintenance practices, and excellent verbal/written communication skills.     

Physical Requirements for production positions regularly include:

• ​Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements




• Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment




• Working across temperature zones that may include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include work in environments where dust is present




• Shift schedules that include days, nights, and weekends, some holidays
