About This Role:

The Content Marketing Partner represents Forrester's portfolio of research services as a crucial foundation to work with Forrester consultants and analysts. This role understands the importance of good content strategy and content marketing in effectively presenting solutions tailored to a client's specific business objective. As part of the sales overlay organization on a mission to help our clients achieve their desired outcomes, you will architect solutions that incorporate several Forrester capabilities to help realize what drives our clients' success; challenge them to think differently; and provide highly valued business insight to let them win, serve, and retain customers.

Job Description:


  • Get a full understanding of Forrester's overall product offerings, with an emphasis on business outcomes.

  • Specialize in Forrester's content marketing offerings.

  • Work with assigned sales teams in developing a sustainable content marketing pipeline to meet and exceed forecast bookings targets.

  • Understand and analyze client challenges. Map Forrester's capabilities and solutions to those needs.

  • Partner with content marketing teams in building a solution framework, and present it to clients.

  • Demonstrate strategic acumen and comfort conducting value-added interactions with senior-level decision-makers in B2B and B2B2C organizations.

  • Coordinate acceptance of scope between Forrester and clients. Share the responsibility with the consulting delivery team to win profitable business.

  • Evangelize content marketing with Forrester clients and internally with your sales partners, build enthusiasm for content marketing offerings, and train sales to find and listen for opportunities.

Job Requirements:


  • A BS or BA degree.

  • Four years or more of proven sales and/or business development experience in market research, data analysis, or in high-tech products and services; history of selling to high-tech industry is a plus.

  • Success in project management; a demonstrated ability to leverage the right resources at the right time to complete client proposals.

  • Superior communication and presentation skills, particularly in scoping projects and writing proposals.

  • Strong active listening skills; the ability to understand clients' business requirements to qualify and propose project solutions that address client challenges.

  • Excellent customer relationship management, organization, and time management skills.

  • A self-motivated, competitive individual who has worked in a team environment.

  • The willingness to travel as needed.
