Job Description:

The Schneider Electric Digital Buildings Security Sales Director will identify, develop and win business to meet forecast sales goals. Leading the customer acquisition efforts for US Sales Team directly and indirectly will be a key initiative, as well as, building and maintaining strong partnerships with Schneider Electric Business Partners.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

* Manages and develops Security business utilizing defined value selling sales processes and programs.

* Develops Security customer relationships and acts as primary field sales representative for SE Buildings, driving growth in specific accounts and across the United States.

* Deeply understands customer structure, products and decision-making processes and creates a rapport within all levels of the security market, key customers, consultants and contracting tiers.

* Ensures that SE provides a Unique Customer Experience by orchestrating all SE relations and contacts to the customer.

* Possesses a level of competence necessary to comprehend, influence and communicate technical and commercial aspects of the Schneider Electric Digital Buildings Security products/solutions.

* Leads coordination for specified direct Security activities across SE business segments.

BACKGROUND & SKILLS

* Bachelor s degree in Business/Engineering or relevant years of industry experience.

* 5 to 10 years of experience selling Security products and solutions to markets in the US.

* Experience working with Customer Relationship Management and sales management systems.

* Knowledgeable in dealing with all levels of customer organizations in a technical product environment.

* Self-motivated, possessing a high energy level and a desire to achieve goals beyond what is required.

* Business acumen around sales forecasting, opportunity management and customer planning.

* Ability to listen, gain trust and bring to closure an action, project, resolution or sales with customers.

* Ability to utilize sales process to uncover customer objections/concerns and determine appropriate solutions.

* Strong process discipline, ability to align planning objectives with a pipeline development process to grow and develop market revenue.

* Ability to work in a cross culture, with diverse teammates in a matrix communications environment.

* Travel requirement /-50% primarily in the US with some internationally as required.
